ROB GRAYSON - Bass Guitar & Background Vocals
Rob is originally from the Mississippi Delta, but has bounced around from station to station
on the Memphis radio dial since joining WHBQ at age 18.  His first radio paycheck bought
him his first cheap fake Beatle Bass, and he's been thumping away ever since.  Musically,
Rob can be heard weekly supporting the worship experience at his chuch plus on occasion
letting his hair down (What Hair??) playing Bass for Decades.
LONNIE DAVIDSON - Lead Guitar
Lonnie grew up in the Memphis area and began playing guitar in 1963.  In 1966, his band,
"The Chasers" won the nationwide Battle of the Bands Competition against 100 bands held
in Newark, NJ.  He has continued playing ever since with bands such as, "Hope" in the
70's, "Night Flight" in the 80's and various other "Rock N Rollers".  He currently enjoys
playing in his church praise band, "rockin out"(or something like that) with his guitar playing
following in his footsteps son, Bryan and gigging with his old friends in "Decades".
DAVID PIERCE - Keyboards & Background Vocals
David grew up in Paris, TN.  Music was a vital part of his life from the beginning with a
father who had a strong love for music and wanted his 2 boys to have the same.  He
started taking piano lessons at age 8 and played every piece of music he could get his
hands on.  He played in various bands and started professionally at age 15(he got paid
for it).  David moved to Memphis in 1975 at age 19 when his brother, also a keyboard
player, landed him a gig in a local band.  To supplement his income, David began doing
sound and lights for local acts like "The Bill Haney Show" and "Natchez".  While setting
up one day a Natchez band member heard David playing the piano and they struck up a
conversation.  David and his B3 Organ joined Natchez.  In 1984 he helped form the
"Hurricanes" with Alan Copeland, continued to play with Natchez and other bands which
lead him to his current gig with new and old friends in "Decades".  Now at age 50, David
still moves a 300lb Hammond B3 and Leslie cabinet in and out of every gig where it will
fit and many times he does this job alone.
FORD MOORE - Band Leader, Lead Singer & Rhythm Guitar
Ford has been singing and playing in bands since 1962 when his band played the local sock
hops in Church Basements.  In his first years as a musician, Ford played the drums.  Since
it was difficult to front the band as a drummer, Ford learned to play guitar.  This extended
thru the Garage Band Era with the Castaway's and into College with the Lads Of Leisure.
After college Ford entered the Air Force and joined a band at every Base he was stationed.
He spent two years playing with the Dakota Drifters in Grand Forks, ND.  After his service
duty Ford returned to Memphis and formed a Country Band called Canyon.  Canyon
performed throughout the Mid South area during the 80's.  In 1982 Ford recorded a
country album "Hearts Desire" which was distributed by independent label Watch Records.
In the early 90's Ford decided to change the format of the band to "oldies" and thus the
current band Decades.
JAKE JACOBS - Drums, Background Vocals & Harmonica
Jake started out on a borrowed set of drums and the rest is history. He honed his skills
in a neighbors garage and then went on to play the Memphis area music scene for many
many years. Jake has been involved with backing up such acts as Rufus Thomas, Jerry
Lee Lewis,
Charlie Pride and the Coasters.  When Jake is not performing with Decades he is the
drummer and percussionist for Getwell Road Methodist Praise Band in Southaven, MS.
